About Sparrow

Sparrow Lodge No. 400 has served Sunbury and the surrounding community since being chartered on Oct 21st in the year of 1868. It was named after Most Worshipful Brother Thomas Sparrow, a lawyer in Columbus, Ohio at the time. WB A.G. Utely was the first Worshipful Master of the Lodge. In 1959, our Lodge moved from the third floor of the village hall in the town square to the current location on 85 Morning Street and was officially dedicated as Columbia Temple.

We hold meetings on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:30pm and reserve the first Tuesday for special meetings and as a time to “cement” our fellowship within the Fraternity. No regular stated meetings are held during July and August.
